Now, the reins of this family business have passed from Bruno Sabbadini, a renowned expert of precious stones, to the hands of his son Alberto, who works with the indispensable assistance of his wife Stefania and, over the last three years, of his son Pierandrea, who holds a diploma from the GIA, New York.
In 1984, Sabbadini of America opened in New York. It operates directly on the American market and promotes the trademark all over the world. This has resulted in making Sabbadini one of the leading designers of Italian jewellery.
A dominant feature of every piece in the Sabbadini collections is certainly the original combination of stones, be they precious or semiprecious. The final effect is one of shapes, colours and shades in absolute harmony.
The jewellery is always up-to-date with the latest trends as well as with haute couture. It stands out for its elegance and for its unique, refined techniques such as the special "serti mysterieux" (invisible settings) which gives this jewellery a particular lightness and distinctive look.
The Sabbadini collections can be admired at exhibitions in New York, Palm Beach, Mosca, Porto Cervo, Saint Moritz and Geneva.
In 1998, a new showroom opened on Via Montenapoleone, Milan. It is a tasteful and welcoming space, run by Pierandrea Sabbadini and designed by Mongiardino and Peregalli, architects who have elegantly interpreted the style and philosophy of the family.
