Bio

For more than 40 years Galerie Thomas in Munich has traded fine art works of German Expressionism and Classic Modernism. It is one of the leading international galleries in this area.

The art of the 20th century is thoroughly represented by works of artists of the "Blauer Reiter" (Blue Rider), such as Wassily Kandinsky, Alexej Jawlensky, August Macke and Franz Marc, among others, as well as artists of the "Brücke" (Bridge) with Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Otto Mueller, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff and Emil Nolde and, last but not least, the artists of the "Bauhaus" like Lyonel Feininger, Oskar Schlemmer and Paul Klee. The exhibitions are accompanied by catalogues. Presentations of the works of Max Beckmann, Pablo Picasso, Edvard Munch, Fernand Léger et al. document the activities of the gallery in the field of Classic Modernism.
